Sometimes I just want to drown in a particular color, its essence like a heady fragrance let-loose from its stoppered bottle. My eyes breathe it in, and I am at once transported, in mind and mood, to the dewy forest floor of a terrarium, where I sit, happily eating mint saltwater taffy, my toes tickled by a leaf.
