Green Rain
I am an alien, an insect, a something,
flying through the spaces between the umbrella plant leaves
which aren't stopping the summer shower from soaking thru,
rendering everything a puddle.
There's music,
but I'm not sure if it's jazz,
or Jazz...you know what I mean?
I hear it, but it's like the water drops on my newspaper, magnifying a G here, blurring a C there...
Right now I think those drops are picking-up radio signals from Mars.
Right now,
I am an alien, an insect, a something...
flying through the spaces.
